Dennis is an expert in public drinking water systems and related groundwater
issues. Before joining GSI, he was the groundwater coordinator for the Oregon
Department of Human Services, Drinking Water Program, and was a university
professor of geology and hydrogeology in Oregon and Texas. He specializes
in conducting source water assessments of groundwater-based public water
systems, including delineating time-related capture zones for wells and estimating
aquifer sensitivity; provides technical assistance for public water systems
with groundwater resources; provides training in groundwater issues; and
conducts hydrogeologic and hydrogeochemical studies of groundwater resources. Education:
