GSI oversees water-rights-related activities for Avion Water Company, the largest private water provider in Oregon. Overall, GSI’s task has been to secure new water rights and modify and protect existing water rights for a long-term, stable water supply. Consulting services have resulted in the issuance of two new groundwater permits; acquisition of required surface water mitigation; development of several claims of beneficial use and water rights certificates; approval of several permit amendments, water rights transfers, and permit extensions; and development of a strategic approach for securing Avion’s multiple water rights.
