Groundwater Supply Master Plan

GSI developed a groundwater master plan for the Sunrise Water Authority (SWA) that outlined the tasks necessary for achieving SWA’s future groundwater production goals. The project included defining the regional hydrogeologic systems, evaluating the potential groundwater production capacity, and recommending options for achieving the groundwater production goal. The resulting plan included developing a Watershed Sustainability Program to actively study, and ultimately manage in a sustainable manner, the interrelated components that control the surface water and groundwater resources within SWA’s watersheds.
